BREAKING NEWS, BLOG ALERT!!

Tuesday 30 April 2013

DAMN ABBOTT and his 'peddling pollies' mates slowed me down a cupla hrs ago on the SA Coast between Millicent and Beachport...

At least I didn't get to see his ridiculous SWAGGER routine.   It was very hard to spot him amongst a large group plus police, support vehicles and the usual media scrum otherwise i would have been tempted to accidentally swerve a bit to the other side!!  I am sure I could detect a foul smell blowin my way just before he came by.  Yucckkk!

Click on the pic to enlarge it, maybe you can spot him....EeeeWWwww!

GOODAY FROM MTGAMBIER SA

Sunday 28 April 2013

Hey left Melbourne last Saturday, spent the whole week travelling along Vic Coast.

Cut across over the otway ranges from near Colac and came out on great ocean rd at Apollo Bay.

Stayed in 3 camps in the the Great Otways NP, Johanna, Blanket bay & Eyrie river.  Also stayed in Discovery Coast coastal park west of Portland and two camps in Lower Glenelg NP near SA border.

All week the wind has been blowing a gale along coast with shwrs plus some sun.  Not good for kayaking.  Able to kayak for 1st time y'day morning in Glenelg river which runs thru the Nat Park.  Was real good but windy at times.

Heading west along the 'limestone coast' towards Adelaide, hope to spend some time exploring the 'Coorong' which runs south of the Murray river entrance.

Have plenty of pics and videos to upload.  So will do when have time.  The internet and mobile reception has been really poor along the Vic coast, hopefully is better in SA.  Also hope the winds back off a bit, but I suppose this is the southern ocean area and its comin on to winter.

More pics when the internet connection is better???
